HOW TO CORRECT PROBLEMS IN THE MACHINE
CAUSE
The battery terminals are dirty or damaged.
The electrolyte level is too low.
The batteries are not fully charged.
The charger is damaged.
The battery is defective.
The batteries are disconnected.
The pad is worn.
There is damage to the pad assembly.
The pad motor is not running
The machine loses power.
Pad pressure is too high
Pad pressure is too low.
Unbalanced pad.
Pad pressure too high on right.
Pad pressure too high on left.
Clean the terminals and connectors. Replace
the damaged cables. Charge the batteries.
Add distilled water to each cell and charge the
batteries.
Charge the batteries for a full 16 hour charge.
Have an authorized service person repair the
charger.
Check voltage of each cell while discharging.
Connect the batteries.
Replace the pad.
Have an authorized service person make
the needed repairs.
Check for tripped breaker, reset. Check
for loose connections.
NOTE: If the motor continues to stop
consult an authorized service person.
Reset the circuit breaker.
Check wire connection to traverse motor.
Replace the fuse.
Check the battey connections.
NOTE: If the motor continues to stop,
consult an authorized service person.
Tighten the adjustment nut between the
rear casters.
Loosen the adjustment nut between
the rear casters.
Recenter pad on driver.
Install new pad.
Tighten right front lift plate nut.
Tighten left front lift plate nut.
