In order to maintain the amount of "pad pressure" being
applied to the floor, this machine comes with:
Pad Pressure
Meter
Presión de
almohadilla
Medidor
Indicateur de
The color bands on the pad pressure meter indicate
Pression
whether the pad pressure is too low (Yellow); within
du disque
recommended pad motor specifications (Green); or too
high (Red). If the machine is operating in the Red
band for more than 5 - 10 seconds, the circuit breaker
will "pop", indicating that the pressure on the floor has
Factory Setting
exceeded the pad motor specifications. Excessive
"popping" (or blowing) of the circuit breaker will cause
Ajuste de fárica
the breaker to stop functioning and will need to be
replaced.
Réglages d'usine
This machine operates on a "Pivot-Control" system.
This allows for the machine to "float" along the floor
consistently and continues to burnish the floor as the
pad wears. When the pad pressure meter starts to
operate in the Yellow band, it is recommended that
Recommended
Setting
the pad be checked for excessive wear and possible
replacement.
Ajuste
recomendado
If the machine operates in the (Red) band for more

than 2-3 seconds, it is recommended that you reduce
recommandés
the amount of pad pressure being applied to the floor.
Refer to the "Pad Pressure Adjustment" instructions.
1. Position the pad centered on the pad driver.
See figure 6
2. Install and tighten the pad retainer.
1. Loosen and remove the pad retainer.
2. Pull the pad from the pad driver. See figure 7.
