Troubleshooting

7.3.1 Replacing the cup grinding wheel

Trigger the emergency function immediately in the event of faults that may cause personal injury or
property damage.
Find the cause of the fault.
If troubleshooting requires work in the hazard area, switch the machine off and secure it against
unauthorized restart.
Immediately notify the person in charge on site about the fault.
Depending on the type of the fault, correct the fault yourself or have it corrected by an authorized and
trained expert.
NOTICE!
The table of faults shown below specifies who is authorized to correct the fault.
IMPORTANT!
The cup grinding wheel must be used as specified by the manufacturer!
The cup grinding wheel may only be replaced by instructed operating
personnel!
The cup grinding wheel may only be used up to the end of the adjusting
range of the adjustable safety plate!
. Also make sure that the curved knife is securely clamped into the horizontal clamping device and
rests safely against the end stop bolts.
1. Unscrew the cup grinding wheel on the bottom using a suitable tool and hold it with one hand.
Remedy
Attach the supply cable to the machine.
Replace the fuse in the control cabinet.
Replace the connecting cable.
Check the plug.
Is the electric motor connected properly as
specified in the circuit diagram?
