INITIAL CONDITIONS AND CHECKS

Initial installation conditions

Ensure the operator is correctly installed in the
gate.
Environmental conditions

This device is not suitable for installation in
inflammable or explosive environments.
Electrical power supply installation

Ensure the direct current connection and installation fulfil the following requirements:
• The nominal voltage of the installation must
coincide with that of the control board.
• The installation must be able to withstand
the power consumed by all the automatic
key devices.
• The installation must be earthed.
• The electrical installation must comply with
low voltage regulations.

ATTACHMENT OF THE ELEMENTS

1 Choose a location for the control board, taking as a
reference the figure shown in "Fig. 1 Elements of the
complete installation" on page 63.

The height from the ground must be
sufficient as to be out of the reach of children.

The attachment surface must withstand the
weight of the control board.
2 Make two holes and attach the board with
appropriate screws.

Electrical drill and broaches

Use the electrical drill in line with the user
instructions.

An earthed power supply of 230Vac, 50Hz
(VIVO-M203) or 125Vac, 60Hz (VIVO-M203M) is
required.

Check that the admissible environmental
temperature range for the control board is
suitable for the location.
• The installation elements must be properly
secured and in a good state of conservation.
• The direct connection point must be high
enough to be out of the reach of children.

If the electrical installation does not comply
with the foregoing requirements, repair before
installing the automatic key device.
3 Attach the other elements of the installation in line
with the corresponding instructions.
4 Position the ducts for the cable, securing them firmly
using appropriate means.

If push buttons are installed to operate the
installation, we recommend installing them
out of the reach of children to prevent them
being played with (minimum recommended
height 1.6 m).
