Inserting the leveller into the guide profile
•
Suspend and lift the drawbridge leveller in pre-assembled form as delivered in accordance with the chapter entitled: Attachment points
for lifting equipment. Remove the rollers (2) (see figure below) on the left-hand and right-hand side.
•
Position the drawbridge leveller precisely in front of the guide profile (1) (figure top centre).
•
Press the drawbridge leveller into the guide profile and lift it through approximately 25 mm (figure top centre and right).
•
Slide the rollers (2) into the guide profile (1) from the side and screw them to the hinge plate (3) (see bottom figure).
•
Remove the lifting attachments.

Check the leveller platform's position at rest and downward pressure when in use. Readjust if necessary.

Check that the end stops in the guide profile are welded in place in accordance with the information in the chapter entitled Welding the
guide profile (for the drawbridge leveller type Z).
11.4
Functional test
•
Perform a functional test. Check whether the leveller can be easily slid from side to side at an angle of up to approximately 5° relative
to the upright face of the loading bay platform.
Instruction!
If any malfunctions are observed, secure the leveller immediately and inform the customer service organisation that is responsible
for your company.
11.5
Quick Start guide
The second Quick Start guide, which is provisionally attached underneath the leveller platform during transportation, must be hung up in a
clearly visible position on the wall, support column or similar surface in the immediate vicinity of the leveller.
11.6
Marshalling space
Adequate marshalling space must be provided for parking up materials handling equipment, if required
