10. Welding the guide profile in place for the drawbridge leveller, type Z

Preparation
• First of all, check that the position where the drawbridge leveller is to be installed offers adequate free space for operation when in use.
• Make sure that the guide profile is completely straight before tack-welding it in place. When tack-welding the profile in place, make
sure that the vertical axis of the guide profile is perfectly vertical.
• Packing is required if there is a gap of more than 1 mm between the guide profile (1) and the steel U profile (2).
• Before welding, the zinc coating should be removed in the area of the welded joint.
• The guide profile must be attached in the horizontal position to the steel U profile with individual tack welds.
Important!
The guide profile must be perfectly level and perpendicular!
• The guide profile (1) must then be welded along its entire length to the steel U profile (2), starting from the middle and in accordance
with the figure.
• All of the slotted holes must be welded as shown.
