1.
For non-standard garage door, ask for the manufacturer advice.
2.
Please ask a qualified person to install the balance system.
3.
Put all supplied labels in obvious sight.
4.
During assembly don't wear any kind of jewelry, watches or loose clothes. The
ladder should be solid.
4. TRACK INSTALLATION
4.1. Vertical track and horizontal track
Vertical and horizontal tracks all have small arches. When installing please use the
connector, as shown in Fig.1:
4.2. Locating the door track
Position the horizontal reference line at the height of 1000 mm (1 metre) above the
floor level as shown in figure No. 2:
Fig. 2
This line should be used as the baseline (reference line) for mounting vertical tracks
and door body. The reference line should be determined as follows: measure the
distance of 1m from the floor and mark point 1 at a distance "B" from the edge of
the door opening. Determine point 2 by transferring the level (height) of point 1 to
the other side of the door opening using a spirit level. Then, the same points should
be determined on the door trucks (at the same distance from the bottom edge of the
tracks – 1000 mm), this way when the tracks are placed on the reference line the points
marked on the line and on the track must align – it will ensure obtaining the level of
the door panels.

B is indicated in figure 2, the distance must be determined by drawing points 1 and
2 on a horizontal line on each side of the door opening. Run external, vertical (from
the floor to the ceiling) reference lines of vertical tracks through these points 1 and
2. B dimension can be determined as follows: remove the bottom door panel from its
packaging and place construction elements on both sides of the panel door – bracket
of the first roller as well as the guide track and vertical track. The value of "B" will be:
spacing of the door tracks measured as described above less the width of the door
opening divided by 2 – fig. 2.a below:
Fig. 2a
This line should be used as the baseline (reference line) for mounting vertical tracks
and door body.
Follow the following steps:
Determine the reference line, starting by measuring a distance of 1 meter from
the floor level
Mark point "1" in distance "B" from the edge of the door opening
Determine point "2" by transferring the level (height) of point 1 to the other side
of the door opening using a spirit level.
Then determine points "1" and "2" on the same height (1 metre) on the door
tracks.
When the tracks are placed on the reference line the points marked on the line
and on the track must align – it will ensure obtaining the level of the door panels.
B is indicated in figure 2, the distance must be determined by drawing points 1 and 2
on a horizontal line on each side of the door opening. Run external, vertical (from the
floor to the ceiling) reference lines of vertical tracks through these points 1 and 2.
Determining distance B
Remove the bottom door panel from its packaging and place the following
construction elements on both sides of the panel door: bracket of the first roller
as well as the guide track and vertical track; this way the distance of door tracks
can be determined.
Calculate the B value using the following formula:
• •
B= track span – door opening width / 2.
Figure 2a can be used to determine the B value.
