12.2. Function settings – auto detect
AUTO DETECT
Press button "set" continuously, until the lamp "Auto detect" flashes, the
digital Tube displays "A" (Fig. 36).
When pressing "+" button, the lamp begins to blink, the opener moves towards the
opening direction automatically, stops at the mechanical open limit position, then goes
automatically towards closing direction and stops at the close position. The lamp stops
flashing, the detect procedure is finished, and it exits the setting status automatically.
After the auto-detect procedure, the garage door could be used normally.
NOTICE:
•
Before auto detect, please install and firmly fix the opening mechanical limit
equipment at the opener guiding rail according to the maximum open height.
•
If the photo beam is equipped, please finish installing the photo beam before
Auto detect. Please don't shield the photo beam ray during auto detect.
•
During auto detect people, pets or other items are prohibited to cross or stay
below the door.
CLOSING GAP – CLOSING THE GAP WHEN THE GARAGE DOOR IS CLOSED
Keep pressing "SET" until the lamp "Closing Gap" starts flashing and the display shows
the function value currently set. Then select the right value by pressing the "+" or
"-" buttons. When setting is complete press the "SET" button to store the entered
data and move to set another function. The range to select from: 0 to 9 (with 4 mm
increments).
OPENING FORCE – DOOR OPENING FORCE
Keep pressing "SET" until the lamp "Opening Force" starts flashing and the display
shows the function value currently set. Then select the right value by pressing the "+"
or "-" buttons. When setting is complete press the "SET" button to store the entered
data and move to set another function. The range to select from: 0 to 9 (the higher the
value the higher the opening force).
CLOSING FORCE – DOOR CLOSING FORCE
Keep pressing "SET" until the lamp "Closing Force" starts flashing and the display
shows the function value currently set. Then select the right value by pressing the "+"
or "-" buttons. When setting is complete press the "SET" button to store the entered
data and move to set another function. The range to select from: 0 to 9 (the higher the
value the higher the closing force).

Keep pressing "SET" until the lamp "Photocell" starts flashing and the value on the
display is the function value currently set for the infrared system. Then select the right

value by pressing the "+" or "-" buttons. When setting is complete press "SET" to store
the entered value.
Parameter:
0: infrared function won't work
1. function active during garage door closing
2. function active during garage door closing and opening
Please note: if the infrared sensors were installed before the automatic settings the
parameter value should be set to 1, otherwise the parameter value should be set to 0.
AUTO CLOSE – AUTOMATIC GARAGE DOOR CLOSING
Keep pressing "SET" until the lamp "Auto Close" starts flashing and the display shows
the function value currently set. Then select the right value by pressing the "+" or
"-" buttons. When setting is complete press the "SET" button to store the entered
data and move to set another function. The range to select from: 1 to 9 (duration of
automatic closing between 1 min and 9 min).
REMOTE LEARN – ADJUSTING THE TRANSMITTER
Function: removing programmed transmitter or adjusting new transmitter (transmitter
"learning"). Keep pressing "SET" until the lamp "Remote learn" starts flashing and the
display shows "1".
Removing: keep pressing "-", "E" character will start flashing on the display, when it
stops flashing all transmitters are removed.
Adjusting ("learning"): keep pressing "+", the will start flashing slowly and "L" will
appear on the display; press the button on the transmitter twice or more times, the
display will start flashing quickly indicating this way that adjusting is complete. Press "+"
again to adjust another transmitter. When adjusting is complete press "SET" to leave
this setting mode.
Please note: up to 8 transmitters can be stored (adjusted). If a ninth transmitter is
added, the transmitter which was stored as first will be removed.
