6.1.4. Winding torsion spring
Note: This part requires careful attention on safety during the whole assembling
process, so you must ask a qualified person to operate. Prepare herringbone ladder
against the door and ascend it at proper height. Insert two prepared torsion steel bars
into the holes of the torsion spring winding core brackets and wind the springs in
counter clockwise alternately.
Attention: Wind the spring 2~3 turns first, then make the complete turns as
recommended below:
Recommended spring turns:
Door height [mm] / recommended turns:
2100 / 6 2400 / 7 2700 / 8 3000 / 9
After screwing the springs, carefully lean a steel rod against the door (place a thick
layer of paper between the door and the rod). Then, using a wrench, fully tighten the
two screws locking the rotation of the core. Tighten the same way both rope winding
drums. Run the counterbalance cables (which are fixed to the lower door handles)
upwards into the relevant grooves of winding drums and stretch them accordingly.
Lock the winding drum with stretched counterbalance cables by tightening the screws.
Remove the tightening rod from the core hole and make that both cables are equally
stretched. Upon completing these steps, make sure that the garage door properly
opens and closes – after opening or closing the door should stop in the middle of its
opening/closing path – please make sure that after stretching the cables the garage
door opens and closes properly.

7. Door adjusting
After assembling the door, clean up all the obstacles, move the door body up and down
to check if it moves smoothly and does not block. If there are any errors (doors are
not moving smoothly or blocking) you should repeat step 5 / 6 and make a necessary
adjustment again until the door opens and closes normally. Lift the door body to the
top; adjust the left and right horizontal tracks to secure consistent clearance between
the door body and the track. Keep the two horizontal tracks levelled at the same height.
Check if the two end cables are at the same taut. Check if all bolts are fully tightened as
illustrated in Fig.23.

8. EMERGENCY KEY INSTALLATION – OPTIONAL
Safety equipment is used for releasing self lock function of the door and fulfilling the
door's manual opening and manual closing function under the condition of power supply
interruption or the power off. Normally it is necessary to assemble this equipment on
the upper half of the door. Use manual electric drill or specialized hole-maker to drill a
Ø16 or Ø20 hole in the door, then clear the holes. Assembly the emergency entrance
equipment according to the order illustrated in Fig.24.
