Confirm the LOT/CODE Number
Check to see that the LOT/CODE number matches on all the following areas:
•
Meter display
•
Test strip calibrator
•
Test strip instructions for use
•
Test strip foil packet
LOT/CODE Number

Remove the calibrator from the meter and store it in the box of test strips.

What It Means
The meter is calibrated for the
box of test strips you are using
The meter may not be calibrated
for the box of test strips you are
using
IMPORTANT: Contact Customer Service if the LOT/CODE number still does
not match. Do not test your patient's blood ketone. The meter may produce
inaccurate results.
IMPORTANT: Do not discard the calibrator until
you have used all the test strips in the box.
You may now test your patient's blood
ketone.
Check to see that you are using the
calibrator that came packaged in the
box of test strips you are using.
Recalibrate the meter.
