4.5. Overload switch

The controller will cut out if the motor is overloaded, e.g. by driving
uphill for too long. In this case, the ignition just needs to be switched
off and on again in order to start moving again. If this does not work,
this means that the controller has overheated.
In this case, please wait a few minutes. In the event of an electrical
overload, the fuse will shut off the power to the scooter. The overload
switch (Fig. 26) is located on the front of the seat construction (Fig. 27).
26
After pressing the switch, the scooter should function normally again.
If it does not function as expected, please contact your specialist
retailer or Bischoff & Bischoff customer service.

4.6. Preparing the scooter for
transportation
You can fold up the scooter in order to save space during
transportation.
Switch off the scooter.
- Remove the armrests (Fig. 28) and then fold the back rest forwards
onto the seat as described in Section 3.5.2.
Remove the basket (Fig. 29)
Fold the steering column towards the foot area (Fig. 30).
Depending on the available space, it is sufficient to fold down
the back rest and steering column and secure the scooter using
securing straps on the frame.
Carefully protect the scooter against slipping by attaching the
securing straps at the designated holding points (Fig. 32, I, II).
The scooter, including the batteries, is generally suitable for
transportation on an aircraft. You can find out the transportation
conditions from your airline. The batteries may need to be removed.
Information on this can be found in Section 6.3.
