Machine concept.

The Robot Analog Interface, art 217-01, is a connection interface between Cebora Tig Welder and
Industrial Welding Robot, based on Cebora PLC.
RAI217 interface is designed to be installed in the Robot Control cabinet.

Features:
- Linked up to Power Source via standardized CAN bus interface.
- No need for any Power Source modifications.
- Power Source can easily be changed.
- Simple plug-in connections.
- Limited amount of wiring and cabling needed.
- Assembled using DIN top-hat rail.
- Housing dimensions (L x W x H) = 200 x 128 x 52 mm.
- High degree of interference immunity during data transmission.
2.2

Art. 217-01 composition.

The Robot Analog Interface, art. 217-01, is made up for a Proprietary PLC, and CANopen cable (4).
The CANopen cable (4) is 1.5 m long and includes a 10 poles female panel connector that also serves as a
lead through piece through the wall of the Robot Control cabinet, and a 4 pins Minifit Molex connector,
ready for connection to the Interface.
The Robot Analog Interface art. 217-01 is connected to the Power Source CAN bus connector via the
signal cable (3).
For linking up the Robot Control with the RAI217 multiple way Phoenix plugs are supplied included with
Robot Interface.
Cables can be individually tailored to the connection requirements of the Robot Control cabinet wiring
lay-out.
To prevent faults, the length of cables between Robot Interface and Robot Control must not exceed 1.5 m.
