11 Disassembly
DANGER
Risk of injury due to unexpected start
The following instructions must be adhered to during all maintenance, servicing, assembly, disassembly and repair work:
• Switch off the FEC W3 extraction system.
• Close off the compressed air supply.
• Disconnect all electrical connections.
CAUTION
• Check and wear your personal protective equipment.
• Personal protective equipment consists of protective clothing, safety goggles, a class P3 respiratory mask, protective
gloves and safety shoes.
• Persons without personal protective equipment must not remain near the extraction system when it is being
disassembled.
• The extraction system must not be cleaned using compressed air or a hammer.
NOTICE
• Only qualified personnel are permitted to perform work on the device or system.
• Please take note of the following instructions:

1 Switch off the device at the control panel.
2 Disconnect all electrical connections.
3 Disconnect the torch system (4), hose and rubber connector from the device.

4 Disconnect the earth cable from the power source and earthing.
If a current clamp is used, disconnect the current clamp plug from the socket on the device and remove the current clamp.
5 Remove the earth cable from the integrated start and stop system (3).
6 Connect the valve lever at the compressed air connector (3) and disconnect the device from the air supply.
7 Remove the seal plug.
8 Attach the dust collecting bag at the waste disposal connection (7).
9 Unlock the latch (5) between the filter housing (1) and the housing (4).
10Tip the filter housing (1) forward and tap on it to empty all of the dust into the dust collecting bag.
11 Tip the filter housing (1) backward again and lock it into place.
12 Remove the dust collecting bag from the waste disposal connection (7) and close it tightly.

13 Unlock the filter housing and tip it forward.
14 Loosen the filter screws (2).
15 Turn and unlock the W3 filter cartridge (3) clockwise.
16 Carefully remove the W3 filter cartridge (3) a few centimetres from the filter housing (1).
17 Place the filter bag over the W3 filter cartridge (3) immediately and add the dirty protective underlay.
18 Close the filter bag tightly.
19 Package the fume extraction system in an appropriate way. In doing so, observe the local regulations.
20Dispose of the dust collecting bag, the filter bag and the fume extraction system according to the local regulations.
21 Clean contaminated areas with an industrial vacuum cleaner from dust class H and/or an damp cleaning cloth.
