Description

The VIP™ 5162 Signal Processor (signal processor) is a rack-mountable switcher that accepts
multiple inputs and sends a single output to one or more projectors, video walls, or screens. It
accepts 6 different input sources including USB and the industry standard HD/SDI. The signal
processor makes it possible to manipulate video content by adjusting the brightness, contrast, and
color correction; and by controlling scaling and positioning. It has a picture-in-picture (PIP) mode and
allows for the seamless flow of video output from multiple sources by using adjustable transition
swipes, fades, and cuts. The VIP™ 5162 Signal Processor can be controlled by its front-panel menu
interface or by the included user-friendly CHAUVET® MVP Processor Software.
Recommended
The recommended configuration for the signal processor is as a multiple input switcher with a
preview monitor and video output to either:
Use
· 1 projector, screen, or video wall, or
· 2 projectors, screens, or video walls that are identical—that display the exact some content.
The recommended control for the signal processor is the CHAUVET® software, which is included.
