Examples
To set up a soft edged wipe transition that moves from left to right at a speed of 2 seconds and is 10
pixels wide, do the following:
1. Press <WIPE>.
2. Use <UP> or <DOWN> until the display shows >WIPE SOFT SWITCH.
3. Press <SEL> twice. The display shows >WIPE MODE:.
4. Use <RIGHT> or <LEFT> until the display shows *WIPE LEFT.
5. Press <SEL>. The display shows >WIPE LEFT.
6. Press <ESC>. The display shows > SETUP WIPE MODE:>>.
7. Use <UP> or <DOWN> until the display shows >WIPE SPEED.
8. Use <RIGHT> or <LEFT> until the display shows *WIPE SPEED: 2.
9. Press <SEL>. The display shows >WIPE SPEED: 2.
10. Use <UP> or <DOWN> until the display shows >WIPE BAR WIDTH.
11. Use <RIGHT> or <LEFT> until the display shows *WIPE BAR WIDTH 10.
12. Press <SEL>. The display shows >WIPE BAR WIDTH 10.
To switch the live output from input source 2 to input source VGA4, do the following:
1. Press <Preview VGA4> to check that the image is there and good quality.
2. Press <TAKE>. The image on the live screen switches to the preview monitor and the image
from the preview monitor switches to the live screen. The live screen transition will be a fade or
wipe depending on the current settings.
To save the current configuration of the signal processor (the input 1 and 2 settings, the scaling, the
transition settings) to SAVE2, do the following:
1. Press <SAVE>. The display shows *SAVE1 SAVE2.
2. Use <RIGHT> or <LEFT> until the display shows SAVE1 *SAVE2.
3. Press <SEL>. The display shows SAVE2 Finished!.
To show a color test pattern on the program screen, do the following:
1. Press <TEST PATTERN>.
2. Use <UP> or <DOWN> until the display shows >TP PRO.
3. Use <RIGHT> or <LEFT> until the display shows >TP PRO ON.
4. Use <RIGHT> or <LEFT> until the display shows *TP MODE COLOR.
5. Press <SEL>. The displays shows PURE COLOR R 255.
6. Use <RIGHT> or <LEFT> to move through red color values.
7. Use <UP> or <DOWN> to move through other color options.
To remove a color test pattern from the program screen, do the following:
1. Press <TEST PATTERN>.
2. Use <RIGHT> and <LEFT> until the display shows >TP PRO OFF.
