Scope of Use
The electro-pneumatic combi hammer is the multi-purpose devi-
ce intended in particular for percussion drilling, light chiselling in
stone, concrete and masonry, for simple drilling and screwing in
wood, metal and plastics.
This electro-pneumatic combi hammer may be used only and
exclusively for the scope of use identified by the manufacturer.

Double Insulation

To ensure maximum safety of the user, our tools are designed and
built to satisfy applicable European standards (EN standards). Tools
with double insulation are marked by the international symbol of
a double square. These tools must not be grounded and a two-wire
cable is sufficient to supply them with power. Tools are shielded in
accordance with EN 55014.
Additional Handle mounting
Prior to commencing any intervention into the device, disconnect
the power cable. Do use the device with the additional handle (9).
Put the additional handle on the clamping neck and fix it, using
the rotating holder.

Thrust Bar Mounting
Loosen the additional handle (9), using the rotating holder. Insert
the thrust bar (12) into the clamping hole on the additional handle.
Adjust the trust bar length with respect to the length of the clam-
ped drill and the requested depth of drilling. Fix the thrust bar by
tightening the additional handle, using the rotating holder.
Attention: When adjusting the thrust bar (12) for drilling with
short drills and when at the same time the additional handle (11)
position is parallel with the vertical device axis, the additional han-
dle has to be deflected moderately so that the thrust bar may be
parallel with the horizontal device axis, thus not preventing free
movement of the operating mode switch (7).

Putting into Operation

Connect the device to the single-phase AC power supply, voltage
of which corresponds to the value on the rating plate. The device
can also be connected to the socket having no protective contact,
because the device is of class II.
Check whether the plug type corresponds to the socket type.
Switching on/off
The device is started by depressing the switch (5). It will be swit-
ched off as soon as the switch is released.
The switch can be locked in the ON position by the arresting
switch (6).
Speed Control
Speed can be controlled smoothly by the switch (5). When depre-
ssing the switch moderately, the drilling hammer starts to rotate
slowly. The more intensive force on the switch, the higher the spe-
ed.
Operating Mode Switch (7)
The operating mode switch (7) has four positions:
= drilling,
= percussion drilling,
= setting position for chiselling,
= rotation stopped, chiselling.
Change the operating modes in the OFF state only. Swivel the
switch simply to the requested position.
Device gearbox will be adjusted to the chosen position after the
switch (5) is depressed, i.e. after the device is started.
