1. Geotextile is installed onto the individual BIOMATIC modules.
2. The geotextile is notched above the piping on one side to ensure it hangs to one side above the
BIOMATIC module.

1. Sand: The space between the BIOMATIC modules is filled in with sand up to the piping installed
above it.
2. Gravel: A layer of gravel is applied above the layer of sand with a thickness of 80 – 100 mm.
3. A layer of geotexile is placed above the gravel.
4. Topsoil: Topsoil is placed above the layer of gravel. The maximum covering over the BIOMATIC
modules must not exceed 500 mm in height.
