17.1 Safety instructions for handling the device

Products manufactured by JULABO GmbH will operate safely if they are
installed, operated and maintained as set out in the general safety
regulations. This section explains the potential dangers which may occur
when operating the water baths and sets out the main safety measures
to prevent these dangers where possible.
The operator is responsible for the qualifications of its operating
personnel.
Ensure that the personnel who operate the water baths are trained in
the relevant work.
The operators must receive regular training about the dangers involved
with their work and about action to prevent such dangers.
Ensure that everybody involved with the operation, maintenance and
installation work have read and understood the safety information and
the operating manual.

the operating manual!
Avoid impacts on the housing, vibrations, damage to the operating
keypad (keys and display) and heavy soiling.
Ensure that the product is checked at regular intervals suitable for its
frequency of use to ensure that it is in perfect condition.
Check that instruction, warning, banning and safety marks are in
good condition at regular intervals, but at least every 2 years.
Ensure that the mains supply has a low impedance to prevent
influencing other devices powered by the same supply.
The device is designed for operation in a controlled electromagnetic
environment. This means that in an environment of this nature,
transmission equipment such as mobile phones should not be used
in the immediate vicinity.
Other devices with components which are sensitive to magnetic
fields may be influenced by magnetic radiation. We recommend that
you maintain a minimum distance of 1 m.
The ambient temperature must not exceed 40°C and not fall below
5°C.
The relative humidity should not exceed 50% (40°C).
Protect device from dirt.
Protect the device from direct sunlight.
