5. BASIC FUNCTIONS AND QUICK START
Turn on the DVR and wait for the system to start. The DVR will beep and displays the
message "No disk!" If a hard drive has not been installed or "illegal system fi le needs format!"
if one has connected.
When you start the system, a login window will prompts a user account to operate the DVR.
The default password for the "Admin" account is "888888".
The status bar is displayed at the bottom of the screen. Press the right button of the mouse,
or press [ESC] on the DVR or remote control to change the tool bar that will allow you to
adjust the parameters and operate the DVR.

To enter the main Menu, press
the MENU button on the DVR /
remote control or on the toolbar.
Then press Setting.
