13. SYSTEM CONFIGURATION
MASK: Each camera can defi ne multiple regions for privacy protection, i.e. blocks an
established area in that sensor in channel view to appear on screen.
To add press and hold the left button of the mouse and select the area, to erase masks
select them with the right button. Each region of privacy will be shown in blue color when
performing a recording.
Masks placed only will be during the live viewing screen process and while recording, but
they will not be recorded in the fi nal video.
MOTION HANDLING: This option allows to select the type of action which will be activated
in the case of an event (motion detection).
-RECOR: select the cameras that you want to activate for this application.
-ALARM ZOOM OUT: allows viewing in full screen of the selected channels.
-ALARM OUT: activate external alarm.
-BUZZER: activate DVR ringer.
-UPLOAD: Select to send a message to the
browser applet when motion is detected. The
message is displayed in the upper right corner
of the screen of the browser window. (Requires
an established remote connection between the
DVR and a PC via Internet).
-EMAIL: sends an email to the address
confi gured.
