• In industrial facilities, the applicable regulations for the
prevention of accidents pertaining to electrical equipment
must be observed.
• In schools and educational institutes, and in hobby and
self-help workshops, the handling of measuring instru-
ments must be supervised responsibly by trained person
nel.
• Do not carelessly leave the packaging material lying
around, as it could become a dangerous toy for children.
• Do not attempt to repair the measuring instrument your
self.
• Never expose it to extreme heat or humidity.
• Hold the voltage tester only by the grips provided for
this purpose. Never hold it beyondthe palpable ends of
the grips.
• The voltage detector cannot detect voltage in armou-
red cables or in cables inside conduits or behind
panels or metallic covers.
Contact with live conductors may lead to injury or
death.

02. Intended use

The voltage detector detects AC voltage and indicates
this to the user by illuminating an LED and emitting an
audible tone.
The measuring device additionally features a built-in
LED torch with an ON/OFF button.
The appliance can be used to locate breakages in cables
or to detect the presence of voltage on fuses, wires and
cables.
