05. Battery replacement
Replace the battery if the display becomes dimmer or if
the acoustic signal becomes quieter.
1. Lift up the battery compartment holder (3) slightly and
push the lid of the battery compartment off in an up-
ward direction.
2. Replace the spent batteries with two new batteries,
ensuring that the polarity is correct.
3. Push the lid back until it clicks into place.
06. Care and maintenance
Clean the device if necessary with a moist, soft, lint-free
cloth. Take care that no moisture enters the housing. Do
not use sprays, solvents, cleaning agents containing al-
cohol or scouring agents; use only clean water to mois-
ten the cloth.
