14 - POSSIBLE PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

Is there a problem?
Water flows through the
holes of the soleplate.
Possible causes
The selected temperature is
too low for steam ironing
(synthetics...).
You are using steam before
the iron is hot.
The boost of steam is used
too often.
Excessive steam level.
Cold iron stored flat, with
water in the tank and steam
level not on dry "O".
Incorrect thermostat reading:
temperature too low.
The tank is filled beyond the
maximum level.
The iron is used immediately
after being in auto shut-off
mode (according to model).
The anti-clogging valve is
incorrectly positioned in the
iron.
Solutions
Respect the colored zone on
the thermostat, indicating
the steam zone.
Wait for the thermostat
amp to go out before using
steam.
Leave a lapse of time
between each use of the
boost of steam.
Reduce the steam level
with the steam adjustment
cursor.
Empty the water tank before
storing, set the steam
adjustment cursor to dry (0)
and store the iron on its
heel.
Consult an approved service
center.
Partially drain the tank until
the water level is on or below
the maximum line.
Shake iron gently and,
before ironing, wait for the
thermostat lamp to go out.
Insert the valve correctly.
