sewing on buttons etc.
Adjust the stitch length to suit your sewing needs.

CAUTION:
Do not set the stitch width less than 5 when using
the overedge foot to prevent the needle from
hitting the wires on the foot.
Place the raw edge of the fabric next to the guide of the
foot and start sewing.

This is similar to a very short satin stitch, and is used to
reinforce points of strain such as corners, pockets and
straps of lingerie.
Sew four (4) to six (6) stitches.

This stitch is used to finish a raw edge on synthetics
and other fabrics that tend to pucker.
Place the fabric to leave a 5/8" (1.6 cm) allowance.
Trim the extra allowance after sewing.
It is also used for mending tears.
