2 Safety

2.1 General Remarks

The filter unit has been developed in accordance with the state of the art and the
recognized safety engineering rules. When operating the filter unit, risks for the
operator or damage to the filter unit and other property may occur if:
− It is not operated by trained or instructed personnel,
− It is not used for the purpose intended and / or
− It is not properly maintained.

2.2 Notes on Signs and Symbols

DANGER
This is a warning against an immediate hazardous situation with an
inevitable consequence of most severe injuries or death if the
designated instruction is not followed exactly.
WARNING
Draws attention to a potentially dangerous situation that could result in
severe personal injury or death if the specified instruction is not
followed exactly.
CAUTION
This is a warning of a potentially dangerous situation with the result of
