8.3 Final decommissioning
Disassembly tasks must be performed with the greatest care, so that no dust
adhering to the filter unit is disturbed and therefore those individuals entrusted with
the task are injured.
In the run-up to disassembly with subsequent disposal the proper disposal of welding
smoke contaminated housing parts etc. should be coordinated and clarified with
regional waste management provider.
The work area for dismantling should be in a well-ventilated room with filter exhaust
air; the area should be separated/ marked.
Before beginning disassembly, the filter unit must be cleaned and the filter element
removed. All dust still on and in the filter unit should be removed with a vacuum
cleaner. Please use an industrial vacuum cleaner of dust class "H" for this purpose.
Please wear personal protective equipment such as protective clothing, gloves, filter
respirator mask etc. in order to avoid contact with harmful dusts.
Stirred up dust have to be vacuumed immediately with a vacuum cleaner of dust
class "H"!
You must clean the working area after disassembly of the filter unit is completed.
