4.1.1. General safety instructions for assembly
• The order for assembly as shown in the illustrations must be observed.
• At least two persons are required to assemble the platform.
• Never leave the work platform unattended in public places. Cordon off the area
immediately surrounding the work platform.
• After setting up the work platform, check that it is vertical and that all parts included
in the scope of delivery have been fitted correctly. Do not leave out any parts.
4.1.2. Special dangers during assembly

ERIOUS OR FATAL INJURY MAY RESULT IF THE WORK PLATFORM TOPPLES OVER
Observe the following when setting up the work platform:
> The surface on which it is assembled must be even and of sufficient load-bear-
ing capacity.
> If necessary, insert load-distributing pads under the platform.
> Ensure that the work platform is vertical.
> Press down the brake lever on the swivel castors to prevent the platform rolling
away during assembly.
> Do not climb on the work platform during assembly, as it is not stable until fully
assembly.
