1. Shut of the HOT and COLD water
supply at the service stops.
2. Remove the stem adjuster, limiter
collar and temperature limiter.
3. Check to make sure that circle mark
on the temperature limiter aligns
with middle top point of the valve.
4. Reinstall the limiter and collar and
turn on the water supply.
5. Turn the water on and let it run for
about 1 minute.
6. Place a thermometer in the water
stream while turning the handle to
the HOT side. Stop when it reads
104°F (40°C).
7. Let the water run at 104°F (40°C).
8. Install the handle and cap.
If there is dirt or debris in the filter,
it will impede the water flow. Filters
should be cleaned regularly by a
professional.
1. Shut off water to the valves.
2. Use screwdriver to remove filter.
3. Use a brush to remove dirt or
debris.
NOTE: Do not use harsh or abrasive
chemicals to clean filter.
