Checking the operational readiness
of the display unit
Check for operational readiness
 Switch on the industrial truck.
The Safety Guard display unit switches on and
is ready for operation after approx. 15 sec-
onds.
 Check LED (1) on the display unit.
The LED must flash green.
Checking pairing with a mobile warning
unit
If the driver is carrying a mobile warning unit, it
must be paired with the Safety Guard display
unit. This prevents a warning message from
being triggered.
Pairing is carried out automatically:
LED (2) lights up green:
Mobile warning unit is paired and within
range of the display unit.
LED (2) lights up red:
Mobile warning unit is paired but not within
range of the display unit.
Checking the operational readiness
sensors
The sensors must be ready for operation be-
fore work operations begin. Check LEDs 1 to
4 (1). LED 4 is optional.
 Switch on the industrial truck.
The Safety Guard display unit switches on.
LEDs 1 to 4 light up green for ten seconds.
If the sensors are ready for operation, the
LEDs go out after ten seconds.
If a sensor is faulty, the corresponding LED
lights up red.
Faulty sensors cannot merely be replaced.
The sensors must be registered with the Linde
Safety Guard system via the configurator.
