Safety information

WARNING!
Risk of injury due to wrong assembly
– This product must be fitted by an experienced
clinician or technician.
– Before assessing for the appropriate positioning
of the Drop Seat Board, ensure that the user is
sitting in an optimum position with their bottom
as far back in the seat as possible to assess for
appropriate seat depth.

Assembling the product

If for any reason you should require additional
training regarding the assembly of this hardware,
please contact us at the number listed below. We will
be glad to provide it free of charge.
1. Remove all parts from the packaging.
WARNING!
Risk of injury
– Before assembly, inspect the product to ensure
that there are no missing or damaged parts.
Fit all screws with a 5/32" (4 mm) Allen key. Tighten
all screws to 75 in-lbs (8.5 N).
2. Determine location on seat to attach L-Brackets C
avoiding any obstructions / protrusions on chassis tubing.
3. Attach the L-Bracket C to the seat board A, securing
screws I and washers J through seat board and into
weld plate G.
4. Repeat for the three remaining brackets.
5. Attach the Fast clamps D to the front L-Brackets C using
flat head screws H and weld plate G on each side.
6. Attach the Tension Hooks B to the rear L-Brackets C
using flat head screws H and weld plate G on each side.
Adjusting the drop seat board
The seat height of the Drop seat board can be adjusted
stepless to a dropped or raised seat position.

Dropped seat
1. To achieve a dropped seat position mount the Tension
hooks B and the Fast clamps D high on the L-Brackets
C.
Raised seat
1. To achieve a raised seat position mount the Tension
hooks B and the Fast clamps D low on the L-Brackets C.
The seat angle of the Drop seat board can be adjusted
stepless to a reclined seat position with a front to back
difference of up to 3" / 76.2 mm.
Reclined seat
1. To achieve a reclined seat position mount the Tension
hooks B high and the Fast clamps D low on the
L-Brackets C.
Installing the seat onto a wheelchair
Front frame part
1. Place the seat onto the wheelchair by engaging the Fast
clamps D and the Tension hooks B firmly over the
frame tubes.
IMPORTANT!
– Make sure that the Fast clamps are placed on
the front frame part and the Tension hooks on
the rear frame part.
2. Position the seat at the desired location.
3. Remove screws and nuts from the Retainer clamps E.
4. Spread the Retainer clamps open and slide them over
the wheelchair frame tubes, behind each Tension hook,
with the tab facing over the Tension Hook.
5. Insert the screws and nuts in the Retaining clamps and
tighten.
6. Remove screws and nuts from the Clamps F.
