Heatiscreatedbyelectriccurrentpassingthroughcoiledmetal
elementsbringingthemuptoveryhightemperatures.The
fanthenpassesroomairoverthehotelementsexchanging
coldairforwarm.Theairmovingoverthecoilskeepsthem
fromreachingtemperaturesthatarenotsafeforthenormal
operationoftheheater.Thereforitisimportanttokeepall
combustiblematerialsandanyobjectsthatmaybesucked
intothefanbladesatasafedistance(pleaserefertothe
specificationtableforappropriateclearances).Makesurethat
thefanbladesremainunobstructedatalltimes.Keepunitclean
anddustfree.Donotblockunitintakeorexhaustatanytime.
Ifdamagehasoccurredpleaserefertothepartslistinginthis
manualandcontactthemanufacturerforareplacement.

Starting Instructions
1.Withtheheaterproperlyinstalledandthepowersuppliedtotheunit
movetheheatselectionknobtothesettingyouwant.Thereareboth
highandlowsettings,alongwithafanonlyoption.RefertoFigure3,
forinformationabouteachsetting.
2.Turnthermostattodesiredsetting.Clockwisewillincreasetheset
point,counterclockwisewillreducethesetting.Anaudibleclickcan
beheardwhenthecurrenttemperatureinthespaceismatchedonthe
dial.
3.
TheHeatingelementandfanwillremainonuntilthe
temperature settingisreached.The heating element will cycle on
and off as needed.
