17. Replacing the Grit Filter

Be careful to insert the grit filters the right way round.

18. Replacing the Thermostat

Warning!
After installing the fitting or removing the thermocouple, the scald protector will need
adjusting.
Failure to observe can cause bodily harm due to scalding.
18.1 Close the flow volume regulators (see
18.2 Trigger the fitting.
18.3 Remove the cover plate (a).
18.4 Loosen the screw and the washer (b).
18.5 Remove the temperature selection knob (c) and the stop ring (d).
18.6 Remove the screw (e).

19. Replacing the Non-return Valve

Warning!
All non-return valves must always be replaced as a group.
Failure to observe can result in an increased bacterial load in drinking water and
cause a health risk or even risk of death.
19.1 Remove the fitting (see
19.2 Remove the mesh washer (a).
19.3 Use an Allen key to unscrew the seating (b) completely (left-hand thread).
19.4 Replace the non-return valve (c).
Caution!
Ensure that the non-return valve is installed in the right direction.
