OPERATIONS FOR USING
ANTIFREEZE (fig. 15)
1)
Turn off the water supply
(tap), disconnect the hose
and run the cleaner until it is
completely empty.
2)
Stop the water cleaner.
3)
Prepare a container with
the solution of antifreeze.
4)
Immerse the tube in the
container with the anti-freeze
solution.
5)
Start the water cleaner.
6)
Start the cleaner and let it
run until antifreeze comes out
through the lance.
7)
Suck up antifreeze with the detergent intake system too.
8)
Stop the water cleaner.

Warning
Anti-freeze may cause environmental pollution. Always follow
the instructions given on the pack. (Dispose of carefully.)
CHECKING AND CHAN-
GING THE PUMP AND
GEARBOX OIL.
Check the level of oil in the
high pressure pump and
gearbox by means of the sight
glass or dipstick (fig. 16B).
If the oil has a milky appearan-
ce, call the technical service
centre immediately.
Change the oil after the first
50 hours' work and subse-
quently every 500 hours or
once a year.
Proceed as follows:
1) Unscrew the drain cap
situated under the pump (fig.
16C).
2) Unscrew the cap with the
dipstick (fig. 16).
3) Let all the oil drain off into
a container and deliver it to an
authorized oil collection and
disposal centre.
4) Replace the drain screw
and pour fresh oil in through
the filling cap on top (fig.
17A) until it reaches the level
indicated on the sight glass
(fig. 17B).
Use only SAE 15 W40 oil for
the H.P. pump and SAE 80
W90 for the gearbox.

CLEANING THE WATER
FILTER
Clean the water intake filter
regularly and free it from any
impurities (fig. 18).
CHECKING OIL LEVEL AND
OIL CHANGE
Before starting up, always
check the level of oil in the
explosion engine by removing
the cap with the dip stick
(fig. 19).
To avoid damaging the engine,
run it only:
- if the level of oil is between
the "Min" and "Max" marks on
the oil dip stick;
- if the oil cap has first been
locked onto the oil pipe.

Warning
Never fill with oil to above the "Max" mark on the dip stick.
Changing the oil:
Change the oil after the first two hours of operation and then
after every 25 hours or more often if the engine has been
running in especially harmful conditions or in particularly dusty
atmospheres.

Warning
- Use high quality clean SAE 10W-30 general purpose detergent
oil, class API-SF or SG.
For more detailed information, consult the instruction manual
supplied with the engine.
- Disconnect the high voltage spark plug cable before changing
the engine oil.
For instructions on how to change the oil, consult the instruction
manual supplied with the engine.

Warning
Spent oil must be disposed of in an authorised collection centre.
AIR FILTER
Check the state of the filter cartridge after every 10 hours of
operation. Replace the filter element after every 50 hours of
operation or more frequently if necessary.
For instructions on how to check and replace the air filter, consult
the instruction manual supplied with the engine.
