The speed of rotation of the exhaust gases extractor is also constantly
controlled, being one of the most important parts of the stove's operation.
Pressure differential
The IKOS stoves have an air intake monitoring system that measures
the amount of air necessary for optimal combustion in order to allow the
calculation of enough air entering in each stage of its operation. If for any
reason an abnormal pressure differential is detected for safety, the stove will
be switched off.
Fuse
The stove power supply is equipped with one fuse that protects the machine
against overload and short circuits.
Automatic burner cleaning cycle
To maintain effective combustion, IKOS stoves have a periodic burner cleaning system. The
stove system for cleaning the burner in each 30 minutes of use. When the stove reaches this
period, the control system turns the exhaust gases extractor at full speed to increase the air
flow blowing the waste and accumulated ashes into the burner for 30 seconds. This keeps the
holes of the burner clear.
Security exhaust gases in a low temperature
If the temperature of the exhaust gases decreases too much, the control system will
automatically turn off the stove. This can happen in case were the stove runs out of pellets,
however the same situation can happen by a malfunction for example, insufficient pellets in
the burner at a low power program.
