1. INTRODUCTION

The contact tachometer model MDT-2245B is a tachome-
ter for RPM, m/min and meters measurement, compact
with 5 digits display and easy usage. Composed by an
dedicated microprocessor with crystal time base, sup-
plying high accurate measurements and high sample
rate. Use long life components with light and strong plastic
case, providing excellent perfomance, dispensing mainte-
nance for various years. Present a wide measure range
between 0,5 to 20000RPM and automatic maximum and
minimum storage function, and the last measured value
by "MEM" key.

2. SAFETY INFORMATIONS

We recommend the user to read the safety and ope-
ration instructions perform any measurement with the
instrument.
CAUTION
• Never perform measurements with the instrument in
following cases: the tachometer or the accessories
present defect; after the instrument storage in abnormal
conditions (explosive atmosphere, inflammable gases,
smoke, vapour or dust); or with open instrument.
• Never exceed the instrument measurement limits.
• Repairs, parts change and calibration need to be per-
formed only by qualified person.
