5. Place the cone reamer on top of the strainer until it is well adjusted in the
citrus juicer axel as indicated in the figure (Figure 4).
6. Raise the stainless steel locking arm and place it on the grooves on the sides
of the strainer. Your juice extractor is equipped with a safety feature that will
ensure the unit will not operate unless the arm is properly locked (Figure 5).
7. Place the 1.25-liter jar under the spout located on the right hand side of the
juicer by tilting it slightly. Other jars or glasses can be used as well (Figure 6).

USING THE CITRUS JUICER ACCESSORY (model FPSTJE318C only)
1. Prepare your oranges, lemons or limes by washing them thoroughly and cutting
them in half.
2. Make sure your unit is properly assembled. Please follow the instructions from
the section "Before Using Your Appliance with the citrus juicer accessory".
3. Ensure the unit and its accessories are clean by following the cleaning and
maintenance section of this manual.
4. Place the jar or any other container/glass you may wish to use to collect the juice
under the spout, making sure to turn around the adjustable rubber sleeve so it is
facing down and inside the jar.
5. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet and select your desired speed. Use
"I" for soft foods or "II" for tougher foods.
6. Once the unit is on, place half of the fruit on top of the cone reamer and press it
down. Repeat the process until you have finished preparing the desired
amount of juice.
7. When done, turn the control button to the off "O" position and unplug unit from
the electrical outlet.
8. Wash all removable pieces right after using them, since it will be harder to clean
dry left over pulp or dried fruit residue. Follow the instructions in the session
"After Using Your Appliance" and "Care and Cleaning".
IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE THIS UNIT CONTINUOUSLY FOR MORE THAN
10 MINUTES.
