12. Function
12.1 Approach the sensor.
12.2 Remain in front of the WC flusher at least 5 s.
12.3 Walk away from the sensor and then press the release for handicapped users.
• Water flows.
• Water flow stops automatically after a set flow duration.
Flow duration
The flow duration has been factory-set to 10 s. The flow duration can be altered in
steps of 0.1 seconds, from 1-6500 s.
Mode of operation using door contactor (optional):
The system pre-flushes for 1 s when the door is closed.
There is a lockup period of 5 min. between two pre-flushes.
When the door remains locked for more than one minute and neither the sensor nor
the release for handicapped users is actuated within this period, a forced flush is
carried out when the WC door is unlocked.

Forced flushing has been factory set to take place after 24 h of disuse.

Flow duration and forced flushing can be set via the system software.
13. Setting the Signal Range
The signal range can be adjusted with a free program available from Franke.
14. Setting Hygiene Flushing
Hygiene flushing can be adjusted with a free program available from Franke.
15. Maintenance and Servicing
Depending on the quality of the water, the local conditions and the rules and regula-
tions applicable on site, the fitting must be maintained and serviced at regular
intervals.
Use suitable cleaning agents that are not harmful to the fittings in a proper manner
and rinse with water after use. High-pressure cleaners must not be used for
cleaning.
Remove the cover plate
To perform maintenance work it is necessary to remove the cover plate.
15.1 Remove the screws (a) from the cover plate.
15.2 Remove the cover plate (b).
15.3 Close the flow volume regulators
15.4 Trigger the valve.
