4.5.2. Wiring of the slave beacons – Beam control board
Remember to connect the shielding on the cables to the earthing screw on each beacon

To be connected to the corresponding terminals on the beam control board (master beacon)
4.5.4 Connections
4.5.4.1. Power supply
Only the master beacon is provided with a 24V DC power supply. The central board, located in the
master beacon, provides a 12V DC power supply for the slave beacons to power the electronic circuits,
and a 24 V DC power supply for the heating systems.
4.5.4.2 Monitoring alarm information
The intrusion alarm information input from all the beam control boards, including the board on the master
beacon, must be connected to the central board located on the master beacon.
4.5.4.3 Memorization of the zone confirguration
Once the wiring of the instrusion alarm information has been installed, it is necessary to arrange for the
system to memorize the installation configuration (number and position of the zones wired).
Check that the key operated switch is in the Off position
Set Switches 4,5 and 6 to OFF
Set switch 6 to ON; the LEDs corresponding to the zones that have been wired must come
on. If this is not so, check the wiring work carried out.
Set switch 6 to OFF; the LEDs flash 3 times to confirm memorization.
Set switch 4 to ON, and then cut off all the beams one by one to check that they system is
operating correctly. The LED corresponding to the zone cut off must come on.
