4.8 ADJUSTING THE TIME DELAY PERIOD FOR AUTOMATIC RESETS

The time delays for restarting automatic monitoring are set using lever switches 1,2 and 3 on the central
board.
Example:setting a delay of 2 min (test mode)
4.8 SWITCHING THE SYSTEM ON AND FINAL TESTS
ATTENTION: carry out these stages with the key on the master beacon in the "All off" position.
Set lever switch Nº4 on the central board located on the master beacon to the ON position
The LEDs located above the switch on the central board show the status of the beams; if a
LED is on, it placed in the beam alignment. If the beam alignment is clear, one of the
installation stages may not have been carried out correctly. Check the various stages again.
If all the LEDs are off, cut off the beams one by one to check correct operation, when a
beam is cut off, the corresponding LED must come on fow a few seconds..
Switch the system on by setting the key operated switch to the "On "position
The system swithces to active monitoring mode automatically
The LEDs on the control unit must be on
Test the remote control unit by deactivating and then reactivating the monitornig mode (by
pressing on buttons A and B on the unit at the same time)
Check operation of the alarms by cutting off each beam, one by one.
Check that the audible alarm and failure signals can be heard from each part of the residence
and its outbuildings, including inside the buildings. Add one or more remoe sirens if
necessary
