CODING THE BEAMS
It is necessart to code the beams to avoid all interference between the beams on the different beacons.
ATTENTION, all the beam coding operations must be carried out without any electrical power
supply (230V mains power supply + 12V battery disconnected)
4.6.1.
Coding configuration operations
Coding configuration is carried out using the potentiometer located on the beam control board on each
beacon.
Configuration is carried out in accordance with the follogin two principles:
THE DIAGRAMS BELOW REPRESENT THE POSITIONS OF THE VARIOU
CONFIGUARTION 1: 1 Master beacon + 1 Slave beacon

Comment: In this configuration, the LED on
the beam control board of the slave beacon
stays on all the time (in alarm status).
As stated in 4.3.4.4m the alarm contact on that
beacon must not be wired
Master beacon: it is necessart to display on the potentiometer the number of SLAVE
beacons present in the intallation.

1 master beacon + 1 slave beacon: display 1

1 master beacon + 4 slave beacon: display 4

1 master beacon + 5 slave beacon : display 5
Slave beacons: move inside the perimeter defined by the beacons, and begin the adjustments
on the slave beacon located directly to the left of the master beacon. Increment 1 to 5 all the
slave beacons, moving anticlockwise.
