8 Controlling the ED07 pressure
regulator
You can continually adjust the pressure once you have connected
the electrical and pneumatic supply on the ED07 pressure
regulator. To do this, the ED07 pressure regulator is e.g. controlled
via a controller or potentiometer using a set point. The electronics
compare the set point with the outlet pressure, which is measured
by a pressure sensor, and generate a control variable that is used
to control the air supply and exhaust with U/I converters and
proportional magnets. This sets the stipulated pressure.
