Securing screws from above:
Please remove first internal extended nut.
3xM6 internal hexagon head screw or 3xM5 hexagonal
head screw.
Securing screws from below:
3xM5 hexagonal head screw or PT DG4 screw.
Attention Sealing plug! Maximum Screwing length: 25mm.
Installation of beacon cover:
Treat area between beacon cover and sealing with
commercial soap or talcum. Lock securely to ensure a
good seal is achieved. Check sealing for accurate fit.
Emergency flashing beacon, M model
The bearing surface must be free from dirt, water, ice and
snow.
The electric connection can be performed through the
open window on the vehicle electric socket. Care must be
taken in this instance, to avoid the connection cable from
being pinched or bent at sharp angles! When not in use,
the flashing emergency beacon is to be kept into the
vehicle in a way to prevent the driver or passenger from
being hindered while diving the vehicle.
Warning!
Maximum admissible speed 200 km/h.
Emergency flashing beacon, FL model
Fix the Hella sleeve to the vehicle with the electric socket
vertically embedded with respect to the roadway: Insert
the flashing emergency beacon on said sleeve and fully
screw on after removing the rubber plug.
Warning: socket head screw tightening torque 3 - 5 Nm.
To change the tubular flashing lamp:
Caution, the tubular flashing lamp is hot after switching
on.
1) Unlock the transparent cap pressing its retainer with a
non-sharp tool, in the meantime loosen the transparent
cap turning it anticlockwise and then lift it.
2) Loosen the protection grid and the lens as shown on
drawing.
