PT soft
Intended purpose
protect.PT soft is a patella correction
orthosis. The product is exclusively to be
used for the orthotic fitting of the knee
and only on unbroken skin or if any
wounds have been properly covered.
Indications
• Femoropatellar pain syndrome
• Patellar chondropathy
• Retropatellar osteoarthritis
• Postoperative and post-traumatic
irritation
• Instability of the patella and knee joint
Contraindications
None known to date.
Fitting instructions
• Open both straps.
• Now bend your leg at a 45-degree
angle. Pull the brace up over you leg
(Image 1).
• Make sure that the kneecap is
positioned centrally in the space for
the patella (Image 2).
• Now fasten both straps and first
tighten the top strap (Image 3) and
then the bottom strap (Image 4).
• If possible, walk a few steps to check
that the brace is in the correct position
(Image 5). Please adjust the position as
required.
• In order to take off the brace, take hold
of it at the lateral, lower end and pull it
down (Image 6).
Care instructions
Please close the hook and loop fasteners
before washing and remove the
ortheses. Soap residues, lotions and
ointments can cause skin irritation and
material wear.
• Wash the product by hand, preferably
using medi clean washing agent.
• Do not bleach.
• Leave to dry naturally.
• Do not iron.
• Do not dry clean.
    
Storage instructions
Please store the brace in a dry place and
protect from direct sunlight.

Polyamide, Elastane, PU, polyester
Liability
The manufacturer's liability will become
void if the product is not used as
intended. Please also refer to the
corresponding safety information and
instructions in this manual.
Disposal
The product can be disposed of in the
domestic waste.
