3.9. ON-OFF CONTROL

Introduce a nil proportional band ( Pb = 0). The output control
becomes an ON-OFF output, with adjustable hysteresis (parameter
hYSt ) :
ON-OFF control can generate excessive fluctuations if the hysteresis
is too low.
In ON-OFF mode, the parameters ti , td et CYC no longer have
an effect. Likewise, manual mode and autotune are no longer
accessible.

3.10. HOT-COLD CONTROL

Output configuration
Cold ON-OFF (no hot)
Proportional cold (no hot)
Hot + Cold ON-OFF
Proportional Hot + Cold
Function of C.Pb and d-b : The cold proportional band C.Pb and the dead band d-b are measured in degrees.

3.11. RAMP AND DWELL FUNCTIONS

By default, the controller is configured so as to reach the setpoint as directly as possible. By introducing a ramp, you oblige the
controller to rise to the setpoint in a gradual way, more or less rapidly depending on the slope of this ramp. It is what is also called
the SOFT START function.
In addition, alarm A1 can be configured as a Timer, and this timer can be combined with the Ramp function. This guarantees a
constant temperature during a given time.
3.11.1. Ramp (SOFT START)
To activate the Ramp function, simply introduce a non-zero slope for the rAmP parameter. When rAmP has a value of zero, the
Ramp function is inhibited.
