4.0 Service
4.1 Changing the burn plates (fig. 9)
• First remove the baffle plate as described above.
• Remove the burn plates by lifting them up and pulling them
out. If they are stuck, a screwdriver may be used as a lever. If
access is difficult you may first remove the ash moulding/
log retainer.
• Remove the two screws that secure the rear burn plate. Then
lift out the rear burn plate.
• When installing new burn plates, start with the rear burn
plate and fasten it with the screws. Then install the side burn
plates (C).
4.2 Changing the base plate (fig. 10)
• In order to remove this, the side burn plates and the baffle
plate must first be removed. See relevant section.
• By removing the base plate (B) - pull the base plate straight out.
• When mounting- push the base plate straight in until it stops (A).
4.3 Replacement of baffle plate (fig. 8)
• When dismantling. Lift the plate (A) up a little. Put it on edge
and remove it through the door opening. Be aware that this
part is very heavy!
• When mounting. Put the plate into the combustion chamber
and place it on top of the burn plates so that it fits closely at
the back on the sides.
4.4 Changing baffle plate II (fig. 11)
• Before removing it, the baffle plate must be removed. Se
separate section.
• Lift the baffle plate II (A) at the rear edge and push it
backwards a little. Then lift it down in front and out through
the door.
• To re-install baffle plate II (A), place the cams at the back edge
of the plate against the clips (B) at the back of the smoke
screen. Lift it past the cam (C) in front and pull it forward a little.
• Put the baffle plate in place.
4.5 Removal/mounting of the door
The door must be open to be removed. Lift the door up so that
the hinge pins comes out of the hinge flaps. Remove the door.
Note! The door is heavy.

5.0 Optional equipment
Top plate for convection chamber (fig. 12)
To be able to distribute the heat in the room or lead the heat
to an adjacent room, a front and top plate may be installed on
the enclosed heat shield. The plate has 4 outlets 150 mm dia. for
the attachment of heat resistant pipes (A), and a notch for the
combustion air intake (B). The plate is fastened to the heat shield
(C) with screws.
