Attachment of collector
Push the collector 8 from the rear onto the gun and
secure it by turning it clockwise by ¼ revolution.
Operate the gun only, if the container is properly at-
tached and secured!
Suspension eyelet
Use the suspension eyelet 5 to attach the gun to a suit-
able suspension system. When not in use, the suspen-
sion eyelet 5 is held in a recess of the housing by a
magnet.
Changing gun tip
For each rivet diameter and material, choose and in-
stall a suitable tip 1 (see table 1). The use of incorrect
tips leads to incorrectly set rivets.
Disconnect the gun from the compressed air sup-
ply line.
Screw the tip
1 from the sleeve 2, using size 15
and 16 assembly spanners.
Mount the selected tip by tightening it with the
assembly spanners. Loose tips might damage the
thread in the sleeve 2.
Tips that are not in use can be stored in the respective
boreholes in the base of the gun (see fig. II).
Setting a blind rivet
Connect the gun to the compressed air supply
line.
Insert the blind rivet into the tip of the gun.
Insert the blind rivet at right angles into the rivet
hole in the workpiece and press it in.
Actuate the trigger
10 until the rivet pin is torn off.
The torn-off rivet pin is automatically transferred by
vacuum to the waste collector 8.
Holding blind rivet in tip
This function allows for blind rivets to be held by vacu-
um in the tip so that it can be properly positioned even
when the rivet is to be set vertically.
To switch on the vacuum extraction system, push
the slide switch 11 up until it engages (ensure that
the gun is connected to the compressed air supply
line).
To completely shut down the vacuum function, use
a pin (e.g. rivet) to close the shut-off valve 17.
Emptying waste collector
Empty the waste collector regularly. Avoid overfilling,
as this could result in damage to the gun!
Remove the waste collector
clockwise and empty it.
To secure the waste collector
turn it clockwise.

Adjustment of air direction (fig. III)
The direction at which the air exits the gun can be ad-
justed by turning the air deflector 9 attached to the rear
of the collector 8.
If a blind rivet is only taken up after two or more at-
tempts, clean the gripper jaws 4 or replace them, if
necessary. Check the hydraulic oil level, and add oil,
if required.

Operate the trigger
in the oil filler tank.
Disconnect the gun from the compressed air sup-
ply line.
Pour out the waste oil and dispose of it according the
applicable environmental protection regulations.
Fill the oil filler tank to the mark with hydraulic oil.
Grab the draw piston unit at the tensioning sleeve

escaping oil is free of air bubbles. Slide the draw
piston unit back to the stop.
