SPECIAL CARE
Special Care should be taken with flasks, resistance and door
FLASK
Manufactured with ceramic material, thermal shock must
be prevented by following the instructions below:
· Never try to accelerate cooling leaving the door
opened.
· When opening the furnace's door, while it's still hot,
keep it opened as short time as possible in order to
prevent cracks.
RESISTANCE
To extend the resistance life, observe the following
instructions:
· Prevent temperatures above 1.100 °C
· Never place inside flasks materials containing tin, lead
or chemical products
DOOR
Cares that must be taken
· Always close it gently
· Periodically apply graphite powder on hinges.
· To open, pull the lever upwards and then open the door.
· In order to close the door, lean it carefully against
frame and push lever downwards.
