OPERATION
Note:
"Level" is the time in which the furnace will remain at the programmed temperature.
EXAMPLES OF 3 LEVEL PROCESS
To a better illustrate, we will give a programming example to the following burning process:
Level 1 -
From roam temperature, heat up to 300°C at a heating velocity of 15°C/min, remaining at this
temperature for 30 minutes.
Level 2 -
From the 300°C, heat up to 950°C at a heating velocity of 20°C/min, remaining at this
temperature for 10 minutes.
Level 3 -
From the 950°C, it cools down to 850°C in a controlled velocity of a 5°C/min cooling,
remaining at this temperature for 15 minutes.
Temperature (ºC)
Level 1
T1 = 300
Level 2
T2 = 950
Level 3
T3 = 850
Note:
The presented parameters are illustrative, not corresponding to any specific metal.
Temperature: Programmed Temperature
Velocity: Heating or Cooling velocity
Steady Phase: Steady Phase Level time
Initially, the system will show the furnace internal temperature.
For the example we will adopt 25°C
Velocíty (ºC/min)
Steady Phase (min)
V1 = 15
V2 = 20
V3 = 5
P1 = 30
P2 = 10
P3 = 15
