Vessels and lids
In order to keep your jug clean and avoid food
drying on the blades, vessels and lids, follow
the below steps as soon as possible after use:
• Rinse most of the ingredients off the
vessels and lids.

• Add 4 cups (around 1L) of warm water and
press the CLEAN button. If thick or sticky
ingredients require extra cleaning power
add a few drops of dish liquid detergent.
• Rinse the jug and lid again and/or
wash separately in warm soapy water
with a soft cloth or bottle brush.
Personal blender attachments
• All personal blender attachments
are dishwasher safe on top shelf.
• To help remove food residues from the
blades and cup walls you can add 1 cup
(240mL) of cold water to the personal
blender cup and press CLEAN.
• Rinse the cup with warm water afterwards.
• If not clean yet, hand wash in warm,
soapy water using a mild liquid
detergent and non-abrasive sponge.

IMPORTANT

There is a risk of pressurization from
hot water and/or detergent.
When rinsing your personal blender cup
by using the CLEAN cycle, never add hot
or even warm water, as the steam produced
can create dangerous pressurization.
Do not add detergent, as the foam produced
will expand and may cause pressurization.
WARNING
Oils in citrus rind can damage the material
of the jug if left to sit on the jug for too
long. Always clean your blender jug
immediately after processing citrus rind.
Sanitizing
The recommended sanitizing solution is
1½ tsp (7.5mL) of household bleach in
2 quarts (2L) of clean, cool water,
mixed according to the recommended
instructions on the bleach container.
To sanitize, follow the below steps:
1. After performing the auto clean cycle
as per the instructions above, add
half of the recommended sanitizing
solution (1 quart/1L) to the jug. Secure
the lid and inner lid and press CLEAN
to run a sanitizing clean cycle.
2. Allow to stand for 1 minute,
then empty solution.
3. To sanitize all the lids, personal
blending cup, scraper and tamper soak
them in 1 quart (1L) of the sanitizing
solution mixture for 2 minutes.
4. Place the empty jug and lid back on
blender base and run on manual speed
MIX for 10-20secs to remove any
excess moisture from the blade area.
5. Wipe the exterior of the personal blender
cup, lids, jug and base with a soft cloth
dampened with the sanitizing solution.
6. Do not rinse after sanitizing. Allow
to air dry before storage. Rinse with
clean water prior to next use.
WARNING
Do not use the CLEAN function to sanitize
your personal Blender Cup.
