6. WARNING NOTIFICATIONS

The following warning notifications can appear on the display:

Meaning
The batteries in the scale are too low. Insert new batteries (see the "Re-
placing the Batteries" section).
The weigh on the scale is over 180 kg, the scale does not withstand the
weight.
An error has occurred during measurement. Step off the scale and
step on it again to repeat the measuring process.
Possible meaning
Body fat includes relatively little water. This means the body's water
content may be below the guideline figures in people who have a
high body fat content. In case of endurance or performance athletes,
by contrast, the guideline figures may be exceeded due to the
lower fat contents and the high proportion of muscle.
The scale is positioned on an uneven surface (e.g. a carpet). The
measured values may be distorted if the surface underneath is uneven.
No values for body fat and water content can be calculated. Feet must
be properly placed on the feet contact area, bare and dry.
